Karaoke - Love It or Hate It!

Well, I'm sure it is something we have all done at some point in time, whether it be at a high school party, a family event, or at some point in a pub with friends, where alcohol could be partly responsible... or at least so we claim lol... yes, I am, or course, referring to that wonderful entertaining "art" of karaoke.

It's something I hadn't done, since I was a child at a Butlins holiday park, when my niece, Christine, and I would get on stage and start doing some "Grease" numbers - especially "Summer Nights"...  move forward a couple of decades and the Internet has facilitated an unlimited amount of access to learn, and/or have fun - in which during my random searches, I discovered SingSnap (and just for the record I am not affiliated with them) - they just happened to be the first site I came across offering a huge catalogue of karaoke songs, that you could record online, and let other people judge you - kind of like letting visitors to the site have an opportunity to be Simon Cowell for a minute or two lol!

Sadly I am no Mariah Carey or Celine Dion, but I had, and continue to have a lot of fun singing and being silly, so here is a sample of one of the first songs I've recorded... "'The Beatles' - Yesterday"...

If any of you like to do Karaoke, please feel free to share your links to recordings with me, I'd love to hear some of them :-)

And if you've never tried it - do it just once, you might be pleasantly surprised...
